Located in Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, CFT is a key player in the beverage trailer industry and is always looking for qualified and hard-working people to join our team.
Reporting to the CFO, the Controller is responsible for coordinating and preparing the day-to-day accounting operations of the various companies. He/she must also prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. He/she will also be responsible for coordinating external audits, developing and implementing financial procedures and controls, and providing financial analysis to support decision-making. In addition, the Controller will work with the management team to optimize financial performance.
Tasks
Implement the company's financial strategy;
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations;
Manage financial controls and accounting procedures;
Contribute to the production of monthly and annual financial statements;
Communicate risks effectively and clearly in a timely manner;
Supervise and direct all department activities and responsibilities;
Monitor and improve accounting processes and practices;
Participate in the implementation of a costing strategy;
Participate in annual budget planning;
Participate in the improvement of internal processes;
Participate in the preparation of the year-end file with the external auditors.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in accounting;
CPA designation (an asset);
Minimum 3 years' experience in a related position;
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft 365 suite;
Experience using business intelligence software (Power BI or other);
Fluency in French and English (written and spoken);
Experience in a manufacturing company - Costing (an asset);
Knowledge of Odoo ERP system (an asset).
